Rocco graduated from Northern High in 1988. As a brave young man of 18, he left home shortly after graduating high school and headed for sunny California to pursue his passion for music and the entertainment industry. He worked behind the scenes and in front of the camera on numerous TV shows, was a production assistant for the Muppet Movie, worked with the Miss America Pageant and Miss Universe Pageant, completed a stint as a radio host for the Angels Baseball radio station and was a Kiss tribute band singer. Rocco filled out his resume with all the above and somehow found time to graduate from Marymount University in Palos Verdes California with a degree in Film and Television. In 2017, Rocco was the recipient of a Telly award for a public service commercial he wrote, directed, produced, performed in and edited. Throughout his career, Rocco spent his free time writing and performing music. He spent his weekend nights performing to packed clubs, whether it be his original music or in costume as Gene Simmons from Kiss, Bon Jovi, Prince or Rob Zombie. His love of music led him to a love for guitars and he began a collection of his favorites. No matter what Rocco was doing, one thing shone through in all his activities, his love for his Savior. Rocco would never miss an opportunity to tell others about his faith and had a unique and approachable manner when he spoke to others about their salvation.
Rocco was blessed with a very special gift – the gift of joy, laughter and hope and he made those around him feel light-hearted and happy.
